Harrisburg Mural Project
During next weekend's Artsfest, be a part of it.
Volunteer with the BARAK Mural Arts Program, a youth-centered arts education and community revitalization program, to join professional muralist Brett Greiman and other local artists to create a new piece of outdoor art that will be installed at a site in Harrisburg.
Volunteers are needed to help in the following areas:
- assist professional artist with various needs
- assist painters on the mural
- collect money
- orchestrate painters through the process
Available volunteer slots are on Saturday, Sunday and Monday:
9-11 a.m.
11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
1-3 p.m.
3-5 p.m.
5-7 p.m.

The BARAK Mural Arts Program is a youth-centered arts education and community revitalization program that uses public art as a vehicle for social change, to enhance neighborhood identities, to strengthen economic development and tourism, to educate children and adults, and to enrich the spirit and pride of our citizens.
BARAK, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)3 community arts organization based in Harrisburg, PA. Their mission is to educate, entertain, and enrich lives through performing and visual arts events and activities that celebrate diversity and stimulate community action while upholding and reinforcin universal moral principles.
