So much to do, so much to say

Hello - My TypePad interface changed on me, so bear with me as I get acclimated.

I'm heading to the 'Burgh this weekend - bought the boyfriend Pirates tickets for his birthday. While I'm munching on Primanti's and I.C. Light, here's what you should be doing:

ew IC....
I'm from Pgh and I don't drink that stuff

Yeah, I know some people hate it. I don't love it. It's one of those "When in Rome" kind of things for me.

Is there any real difference between iron city and, say, budweiser or miller? Hardly, except that Iron City in pittsburgh will be fresher. There is even LESS difference between light beers, like Michelob ultra and IC light. It's all about the label and not what's in the bottle, most people want to associate with the TV commercials they see or others they see drinking it. Drink local, keep the taxes in PA. Now if you're comparing Iron City to a 30 dollar a case craft brew, then it's apples to oranges.

Any self-proclaimed "burgher" who balks at Iron City over any other adjunct lager is a complete "brand chump"
