So much to do, so much to say
Hello - My TypePad interface changed on me, so bear with me as I get acclimated.
I'm heading to the 'Burgh this weekend - bought the boyfriend Pirates tickets for his birthday. While I'm munching on Primanti's and I.C. Light, here's what you should be doing:
- Flinchy's crab fest is back every Thursday night, including All-You-Can-Eat crab legs. Consider me there.
- Also on Thursday, central PA's favorite cover band, Green Eggs, is performing at the Hollywood Casino
- Happy Memorial Day! That means it's Artsfest weekend. Stroll the river, eat a funnel cake and buy some local art. But don't forget to check out the 10th Annual ArtsFest Film Festival, featuring an appearance by John Waters.
- The Greatest Show on Earth is in Hershey this weekend!
- On Saturday, Hersheypark opens for the summer season. I can't wait to go!
- Did you know that Camp Hill has an annual Memorial Day parade? I didn't.
- And finally, pools across the area open, including Boiling Springs Pool and my friend's community pool (that's where I'll be Monday) - just in time for potential good weather.

Yeah, I know some people hate it. I don't love it. It's one of those "When in Rome" kind of things for me.

Is there any real difference between iron city and, say, budweiser or miller? Hardly, except that Iron City in pittsburgh will be fresher. There is even LESS difference between light beers, like Michelob ultra and IC light. It's all about the label and not what's in the bottle, most people want to associate with the TV commercials they see or others they see drinking it. Drink local, keep the taxes in PA. Now if you're comparing Iron City to a 30 dollar a case craft brew, then it's apples to oranges.

Any self-proclaimed "burgher" who balks at Iron City over any other adjunct lager is a complete "brand chump"
