For the past two years, I've been fortunate enough to attend the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture (PASA)'s annual Harvest Celebration Dinner, an event that brings together Pennsylvania products - from meat and vegetables to craft brews and wine - and celebrates its producers. This year, the dinner is on Sunday, Sept. 21 at the Harrisburg Hilton.
You'll see the full write-up in my column after the fact, but if you want to attend this year's PASA Harvest Celebration Dinner, you can read more here (including a peek at the menu) or click here for tickets. Price is $75 and includes both a reception and dinner. Wear loose clothing - it's a lot of food.

grrrrr! This is year #2 that I'll be out of town for this. I heard it is fabulous.

It IS fabulous. Good news though (and I'll have this in my Sept. 25 column), there is a PASA beer-cheese-chocolate tasting at ABC (Abbey Bar) on Sunday, Oct. 12.
Also, if you haven't been to a local Slow Food Dinner, there's one on Oct. 2 that I'll be posting about soon.
Sorry to hear you're missing this though!
