You may have already noticed (those of you viewing via your RSS reader want to click through today) that my blog has gone through a significant visual change. This upgrade is care of local web gurus, Mudbrick Creative.
The Mudbrick team of Paul and Tyler worked with me to create a design and look that defined me and my blogging role in the Harrisburg community. I think what they've come up with is great. Sophisticated and stylish, with a gradient landscape of Harrisburg in the background, the look is easy on the eyes with just a hint of edge. Please click through to read more about the update.
The organization is one of my favorite upgrades. Take a look at the "Local Bloggers" tab. If you're a local blogger but don't see yourself on the list, please e-mail me, and I'll add you. While you're tabbing around, take a look at "Restaurants," a highlight of which also appear in the "Top 10" on the righthand sidebar. "Links" highlights non-blogger local sites like art associations, event pages and more. I've also added a "Gallery" on the right sidebar. Right now, you'll see pictures from possibly the first Harrisburg Brewer's Fest, but I'll update that soon. Maybe today. Finally, you can also read a little "About me."
I'd like to give a big thanks to Mudbrick Creative for their vision, patience and hard work. Thank you! If you like what you see here and are looking to update or start a website, check them out here.
I also want to give a big shout-out to Typepad.com and their team. When I asked about switching to Wordpress on Twitter (we originally thought they didn't have the customability we needed), Anil Dash (a Camp Hill native!) emailed me personally. He and his colleague, Ginevra Whalen, stayed in contact with me and the Mudbrick team throughout the process to answer questions and help us get started. Ginevra is a big sweetheart and even offered to post about SaraBozich.com as a Typepad Featured Blog! Look for me there soon.
Finally, thank you to YOU, readers. It's a fun little community we've created, isn't it? You guys rock.

Looks great Sara!
I like the mixed fonts and splashing martini to anchor the top of the page. Cool combo.
One thing that I would adjust... The 'recent posts' section font could be increased in size to fill the sidebar. The titles look 'scrunched' to the left of the column. Of course once you get a long post title it would go to two lines.

Looks awesome! The page layout is not displaying properly in IE6 on the computer I am using. This might be an issue with this individual computer but due to the still high use of IE6 it might be worth looking into.

Yea we'll check out the IE6 display issue. IE6 is at 20% utilization as of November so it's still worth checking into.
