I'll begin with a few announcements. As of this weekend (fingers crossed!), The Boyfriend and I will be first-time homeowners. We're stressed but excited - and I'll try to not let blogging fall through the cracks as we get moved in. Also, I'd like to throw out a Happy Birthday to my dad (Happy Birthday, Dad!) and a Congrats! to two friends who just decided to tie the knot (you know who you are). I'm very much looking forward to tonight's dinner at Cedars in Camp Hill - followed by a weekend of moving and painting and the like. For a more exciting time, check out the following:
- Tonight, Garrason's kicks off its new "Rib Night" every Thursday through the Super Bowl (how's that for longevity?). Get a full rack, slaw, fries and a salad for just $15.95.
- Level 2 brings back "Flashback Thursdays" with dance music from the 70s, 80s and 90s from 9 p.m. to close. Absolute-brand cocktails are just $4 all night.
- Fridays at Lancaster Brewing Co. Harrisburg - drafts are $2.50 all night long.
- Stop into Legends before 9:30 p.m. Friday to register to win a trip for 2 to the Aug. 2 Pennsylvania 500 in the Poconos.
- Senators Baseball tickets are 2 for 1 all weekend long.
- Gullifty's "Underground" is hosting a Jerry Garcia Festival on Saturday
- Don't forget, Saturday also is HYP's Kickball Classic
- HMAC is hosting its 1st Saturday Art Flea Market from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday
- Come Sunday eve, relax at Fort Hunter for the Sunset Performing Arts Series at 7:30 p.m.
